Pentru prima dată în istorie, Academia de Televiziune a anunțat nominalizații de anul acesta la Primetime Emmy 2022, fără a menționa rețeaua sau platforma care se află în fruntea listei. Asta i-a lăsat pe HBO și Netflix să se chinuie să-și numere nominalizările în căutarea dreptului de lăudare din acest an.

În schimb, Academia TV susține că emisiunile sunt problema și, în acest scop, bilanțul a fost clar: „Succesiunea” a fost cel mai nominalizat program din 2022, câștigând 25 de nominalizări – inclusiv o dramă remarcabilă. A urmat „Ted Lasso” cu 20 de nominalizări (inclusiv cea mai bună comedie, egalând totalul de anul trecut) și apoi „The White Lotus”, cea mai nominalizata serie limitat cu 20 de astfel de nominalizari

În cele din urmă, după ce toată lumea s-a chinuit să facă singuri calculele, a devenit clar că combinația HBO/HBO Max a condus anul acesta cu 140 de nominalizări (108 pentru HBO, 32 pentru HBO Max), urmată de Netflix cu 105.

Ceremonia de decernare Primetime Emmy Awards 2022 are loc în noaptea de 13 septembrie și este tranmisa LIVE pe AMC România, începând cu ora 2:00, cu ceremonia de pe covorul roșu, și continuând cu gala de decernare a premiilor.
